Coach guidance
A service that FAD offers is guiding coaches “on the job”. FAD can act as a sounding board for trainers/coaches or other sports technical staff. From his role as head of youth and technical coordinator at HFC Haarlem, Ajax Cape Town, AFC Ajax and as head teacher at the KNVB, Edmond has gained a lot of specific experience in this area.
His previous education as a PE teacher at the Sports University, (ALO) Amsterdam and his education as a sports coach at the CIOS Overveen and in Arnhem, have given him insights and tools to perform this role excellently.

Talent recognition
One of the “critical success factors” of a good youth academy is finding and selecting the best players. The best players are those who can contribute to the chosen style of play and fit into the culture of the club. The most difficult part of talent recognition is assessing "potential". FAD teaches you and your staff to look at the “right” talent and the potential of that talent in a specific way. We will make you aware of the biases about talent during the scouting and selection process and help you to overcome these.
FAD can help you select the right players. This service that FAD offers in guiding and teaching your coaches and scouts “on the job” pays for itself in the short and certainly in the long term. FAD can help and advise you on how to set up or improve your scouting organization.
These unique experiences and knowledge that FAD has acquired, coupled with a unique vision of talent recognition, are now also available to you, your club or your association.
Edmond has gained experience in talent recognition as Head of Youth Development, technical coordinator and talent development Expert in China.
