Modules

 

The modules and timeline as described below are our starting point. In consultation, these modules can be customized to your preferences.

Module 1.  (3 periods of 8 days in 3 months)                                                                               

Intensive guiding period I-Telling & Instructing

Main goal: Implementing the selected items from the improvement plan

Sub-goal: Sharing FAD’s vision and knowledge on football, player development, talent recognition, governance and organisation.

Review assignments for technical staff.

Workshop for the academy's entire staff.

Demo training(s) by FAD (on request).

Strategy meetings with the General Manager, Technical Director, and Head of Youth Development.

Presentations on topics selected by the club (topics can be added upon request).

Feedback meetings with the Head of Youth Development and/or other departments.

Online assistance in between periods.

Evaluation and end-report Module 1.

Planning and preview of Module 2.

Formulating and communicating the assignments for Module 2.

 

Module 2. (6 periods of 5 days in 7 months)                                                                                        

Intensive guiding period II-Selling & Convincing

Sub-goal: Sharing FAD’s vision and knowledge on football, player development, talent recognition, governance and organisation.

Sub-goal: Anchoring and guarding FAD’s vision implemented in Module 1.

Advise on innovations for the youth Academy.

Creating a youth football curriculum and youth policy plan together with the staff and using the vision of FAD.

Status update by technical staff and other designated staff and divisions.

Workshop for technical staff.

Demo training(s) by FAD (on request).

Strategy meetings with the General Manager, Technical Director, and Head of Youth Development.

Presentations on topics selected by the club.

Feedback meetings with the Head of Youth Development and/or other departments.

Online assistance in between periods.

Evaluation and end-report Module 2.

Planning and preview of Module 3.

Formulating and communicating the assignments for Module 3.

  

Module 3.  (8 periods of 5 days in 10 months)                                                                                 

Extensive guiding period III - Participating & Consulting

Main goal: Innovating the existing situation

Sub-goal: Anchoring and safeguarding the vision and improvements implemented during Module 1 & 2.

Advise on innovations for the youth Academy.

Creating a youth football curriculum and youth policy plan together with the staff and using the vision of FAD.

Status update by technical staff and other designated staff and divisions.

Workshop for technical staff.

Strategy meetings with the General Manager, Technical Director, and Head of Youth Development.

Presentations on topics selected by the club.

Observing & assisting youth coaches on the pitch. (coach the coach programs - if desired)

Setting up individual development plans for the technical staff and other staff of the youth academy.

Support in HR policy, recruitment, selection and evaluation of staff.

Feedback consultation with the Head of Youth Development and/or other departments.

Use of FAD expertise in the final phase of scouting (if desired).

Online presentations to staff.

Online assistance in between periods.

Evaluation and end-report Module 3.

Planning and preview of Module 4.

Formulating and communicating the assignments for Module 4.

Note: to be organized on request and in addition to the assignment and the program.

Study trip with the Head of Youth Education and other management and/or elected staff members to some Dutch and/or other foreign top youth-academies. The club is to be determined based on the program's wishes and based on the cooperation of the club(s) to be visited.

 

Module 4. (8 periods of 5 days in 10 months)                                                                                 

Fine tuning & Innovation period IV - Delegating & Transferring

 

Main goal: Deepening and refining the newly created situation and further delegating and transferring the improvement process and future planning to the current staff.

Sub-goal: Anchoring and safeguarding the improvements implemented during Module 3 & develop a long-term plan

Guarding the vision of FAD implemented in Module 1.

Advise on innovations for the youth Academy.

Refining and adjusting the youth football curriculum and youth policy plan together made in Module 3.

Status update by technical staff and other designated staff and divisions.

Workshop for technical staff.

Strategy meetings with the General Manager, Technical Director, and Head of Youth Development.

Presentations on topics selected by the club

Observing & assisting youth coaches on the pitch. (coach the coach programs - if desired)

Following up on the individual development plans for the technical staff and other staff of the youth academy.

Support in HR policy, recruitment, selection and evaluation of staff.

Feedback consultation with the Head of Youth Development and/or other departments.

Use of FAD expertise in the final phase of scouting (if desired).

Online presentations to staff

Online assistance in between periods.

Evaluation and end-report Module 4.

Planning future monitoring.

Note: to be organized on request and in addition to the assignment and the program.

Study trip with the Head of Youth Education and other management and/or elected staff members to a top youth academy. The club is to be determined based on the program's wishes and based on the cooperation of the club(s) to be visited.
